LCBC youth mission team hits midweek in stride!

It is Wednesday night and hard to believe that there is only one more ministry day left for the LCBC youth team.  But today was a strong day and much was accomplished.  Half the team conducted a vision clinic in the nearby community of Thukaeema. The residents of this village are very poor but there seems to be a hunger for spiritual truth. Today we saw 56 people in the clinic and we distributed 32 pair of reading glasses and built 31 pair of distance glasses. But once again God Spirit was moving and 11 of these dear people asked Jesus into their lives for the first time.  Light continues to overcome darkness!  The other half of the team stayed on the NVM compound and did work projects.  The entire team ate an early supper and took a ride up a nearby mountain to see the sun set. Unfortunately it was very cloudy and it started to rain very hard on their trip.  But they had a great time along the way. Check out these photos taken at today’s vision clinic.
