Monique

Monique is a 50 year old woman who lives in the village of Chambrun with 7 children in a mud hut. She does not have a husband. She does not read or write. Monique has never spent a single day in school! But now she is learning a new skill. She is learning to make beads and turn them into beautiful jewelry at a class on the NVM compound. She also helps to cook food for the Students at the NVM school. Monique is a hard-working woman who is always ready to flash you a smile. She was overjoyed with the gift of rice and beans from GAiN! She says, “This donation is a true gift from God. It helps to build my faith to continue to trust Him daily for my family.” Monique loves the Lord and sees God’s hand in these donated food packs. Please pray for Monique as she continues to live a hard life here in Haiti and to care for her children.
