The GAiN team in Haiti had a full day of hard work. And they accomplished so very much.
At about 9:30 four of the ladies joined Cheryl for her training class teaching Haitian women how to make jewelry out of rolled beads. There was a large group in attendance and it was a successful morning. And Lana had the opportunity to share with the group. The ladies were blessed. Pray for these ladies that God will use this new skill to help them support their families.
The men dove into the project started yesterday of completing construction on the outdoor kitchen that will be used to cook for the students at the NVM school. And as you can see they made good progress. It is getting hot during the day in Haiti and they worked hard. It looks like they will be able to complete the project this week.
In the afternoon the ladies turned their attention to painting ceiling tiles for the new hospital. Their work was done in the warehouse. Step by step we are getting closer to opening the hospital. And what a blessing that will be.
Dr. Weston spent the morning in the clinic seeing patients. Sorry, no photos of him today. Tomorrow for sure.
Continue to pray for our work this week. Tomorrow is another work day on the NVM compound and as always, we will keep you posted.
