The walls have been going up on the new NVM office building over the past few weeks and today they are pouring the roof. Now just you know what a challenge this is, the roof is cement! We knew that most buildings have a cement roof but we had never seen on set up and poured. That is a lot of weight. They make a wood platform with “many” braces holding up the boards. It is really something to see. To let you in on it, here are some photos. Pastor Pierre is talking to a couple of his police officer friends while we were waiting for the cement trucks to arrive.
We also got a higher speed internet service yesterday. That is a great thing.

One major advantage of cement roofs is that they can duplicate the appearance of an extensive array of tile designs. They can tout a large selection of colors and designs, and they are also very cost-effective.
